LIFE it seems has other plans for us.
my art has morphed from watercolor sketching to oil, acrylics, plein air, pen & wash, wall art and back again. my love of art has had a lot to do with my graphic design, my day job, the disciplines compliment each other in many ways. I have been fortunate enough to spend time with many talented artists, walter magilton, jane annois, ceramic artist, colley whisson painter, ann justin talented pastelist, and contemporary landscape artist craig penny, cathy shugg art teacher & contemporary artist, alice saunders abstract expressionism, jan daly art teacher among others, all have changed the way I look at art, painting and other things. . my latest art is about Cambodia's warriors, the men who fought, the stories they tell, as many pass - it is their time now. tattoos were a big thing for men (and women) and I have pursued this in some portraits that will make my paintings for 2023/24 born to be wild (2018) wall art for the hive cafe, markers, acrylics, hand drawn and painted Glen Saunders australian artist, graphic designer [email protected] |
